Events

This evening we will officially welcome 4 new members to Rotary Camrose:  Shannon Stolee, Christina Rehmann, Christine Gau, Jeannie Zimmel.  Please come prepared to introduce yourself to the new members by sharing a few highlights about you and your Rotary experience.

During the month of November we recognize the effect of  Family Violence in our community.  Abby Ness heads the Changing Ways program of Camrose FCSS and she will speak to us about this subject.

Souls for Soles is an organization dedicated to providing shoes for kids and families in need.  Lisa will give us an overview of the program, focussing on how Rotary Camrose might participate.

RCCD Annual AGM will be held to approve the 2024 2025 Financial Reports and elect officers and directors for the 2025 2026 year.

Pharmacist Dean Jarrett will share his experiences and knowledge about the state of immunizations in Camrose and beyond.

Jeannie Zimmel is one of our newest members.  She has already made a difference to our Club by working on the Program Committee and bringing a fun game to our October 30 Happy Hour.  Jeannie will be sharing her story with us at our meeting.

Come and raise a glass of your favorite beverage with Rotary friends! This is an opportunity to share stories and get updates on what Club members are doing currently.

Our Club has been a proud supporter of this program for many years.  Time to discuss how to sustain our participation into future years.

Our District Governor will convey his annual message to our Club and hear any comments, concerns, suggestions that our members may wish to bring forward.

Rotarians unite with others who enjoy similar hobbies or past times in Rotary Fellowships.  Morris and Lou will talk about the Fellowships they have joined and touch on other Fellowships that may interest Club members.

Dr. Ivana Schoepf is an Assistant Professor of Integrative Biology at Augustana, and Chloe Funnell is a Bachelor of Science student in Integrative Biology at Augustana. 

Liz and Sarah will share pictures and stories about their trip to India  in November 2025 to distribute Days for Girls hygiene kits to young women.

Shannon is one of our new members who joined last summer.  She will introduce herself to us and share some interesting information about herself.

Please come to hear what City Engineer Jeremy Enarson has to tell us about the plans of the City of Camrose with respect to the water system.

Sarah Skinner from Battle River Watershed Alliance will be joining us to share what is happening with our water systems and the environmental challenges we face today in Camrose and area.

Cathy Samson from the Rotary Club of Wainwright will attend our meeting and tell us about her tour of the Rotary Literacy project in Guatemala
